A personal project inspired by the Hall of Rocks & Gems at the Smithsonian.
This lifestyle and performance shoe duo, inspired by gneiss, a metamorphic rock, is an upper exploration in form and color through movement and unity. The designs play with organic continuity and interlocking geometry, with color combinations from inspired climates.
The court sneaker utilizes a grounded mineral palette with super tactile layering and visible texture.
The performance trainer evokes an energetic gem palette with smooth, aerodynamic layering, and contrasting trims.
